Structural calculations work out the loads on a part of the structure and then check whether it is strong enough to support them. They are needed to make sure that the structure is safe. They are often asked for by Building Control when a Building Regulation application is made. This may be as part of a new build or an alteration. They don’t make much sense to the average person but they can be understood by another engineer.

We do no do site inspections. We work from plans. Hence, you only pay for what you need.
History
